AIDS Discrimination, Prejudice: Use Your SEO Knowledge to Fight Them
Today it’s World AIDS Day.
In case you’re joking about it, saying that this is a day to spread AIDS, know that no one is laughing here. But if you acknowledge the importance of raising AIDS awareness, be very welcome and please read on.
Some (perhaps many?) people might think that AIDS is a is too controversial and off-topic subject for a blog that sells SEO writing services. Well, as you must have guessed, I disagree. Last time I checked, SEO articles were purchased by human beings (please feel free correct me if I’m wrong). And when we talk about AIDS, we’re talking about human beings. These human beings could be my clients, or my writers, or my relatives, or my friends.
AIDS is everywhere. What’s worse: AIDS prejudice seems to be much more widespread than AIDS itself. There’s something very wrong about it, don’t you agree?
In order to encourage you to take action and help raise AIDS awareness, I’m proposing a challenge here: can you use your SEO knowledge—or hire SEO specialists—to get a Google 1st SERP ranking for popular AIDS related terms? Can you do it without applying any dubious methods? How long is this going to take you? How helpful will the ranking site(s) be?
Here are the keyword phrases I suggest you try to rank for:
- AIDS discrimination
- AIDS prejudice
- AIDS awareness
Of course, you are free to pick other terms. Go to your favourite keyword research tool, generate AIDS related keyword ideas and study them. Then, produce the best resource you can. Use written text, images, videos, webcomics, interviews… anything you can, as long as it deals with AIDS and, more specifically, with your chosen keyword(s). Finally, try to get a good Google ranking for it, so that it is visited by as many people as possible.
What will you gain from this experience?
If you think you’re going to get money and/or gifts when you win this challenge, think again. This is not about selfish rewards.
This is about using your SEO knowledge to give something back to society. This is about fighting AIDS discrimination. This is about showing you care… because you aren’t a cold, lifeless robot.
You’re a human being.
